A delegation from Duquesne University visited our hospital
On the morning of October 26, Professor David Dausey, Dean of Duquesne University, Professor Fevzi Akinci, Dean of Langers School of Health Sciences, and Professor Chen Yan from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, accompanied by Hu Jun, Vice Dean of Rehabilitation College of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, visited our hospital and held talks with Zheng Li, Secretary of the Party Committee of our hospital, and the heads of relevant functional departments and clinical departments.
Secretary Zheng Li warmly welcomed the delegation of Duquesne University and introduced the basic situation of our hospital. She mainly introduced the Special Departments of Rehabilitation Medicine, Acupuncture, Tuina, Zhu's gynecology, Hematology, Dermatology and Anorectology in our hospital. She also introduced the work and study of graduates who had obtained master's degree from Duquesne University during the cooperation between Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Duquesne University.
Professor Dausey thanked us for the reception. He introduced Duquesne University and many domestic partners, especially Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which had carried out good international cooperation projects and achieved good results. In the future, Duquesne University will further cooperate with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to expand the scope of the project, and will establish an overseas platform of Duquesne University in Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, hoping to get the support of affiliated hospitals.
After the talks, the delegation visited the Rehabilitation Medical Center and the Rehabilitation Medical Ward of our hospital. President Fevzi Akinci saw the work of graduates in our hospital and expressed his gratification and expectation for their talents in the hospital.
In 2014, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Duquesne University cooperated. Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine dispatched students and refresher personnel to Langers College of Health Sciences, Duquesne University for a one-year study of rehabilitation-related disciplines, and obtained a master's degree from Duquesne University. In the past four years, 10 graduates from this project have worked and studied in the Rehabilitation Medicine Department of our hospital.
