On the afternoon of February 24, 2018, Morocco local time, Dr. Hu Binglin, the head of the medical team assisted by Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Morocco, was invited to attend the 4th Confucius Institute Chinese Medicine Culture Lecture and Experience Activity with the whole team at the University of Mohammed V. , Captain Hu Binglin introduced the Chinese medicine Tuina culture to the Moroccan people.

Wife of the Chinese ambassador to Morocco and counselor Mrs. Zhao Jiangping, ambassador of Burundi to Morocco, Dr. Khalil, chairman of the Sino-Mo Friendship Association, and Yismayil Gasu, vice president of Morocco V University, Ms. Karima Yatribi of Confucius college and President of Chinese side Liu Hui, participated in the activities with 200 TCM lovers. In a 40-minute lecture, Hu Binglin taught Africans the word "Tuina" of Traditional Chinese Medicine besides the word “Massage” with health care meaning. They understand that Chinese Tuina can treat not only muscular and joint pain, but also gynecological and medical diseases. They understand that more than 400 years ago Chinese people treated pediatric diseases with two hands, and established a complete theoretical system of pediatric Tuina. They understand that Chinese Tuina doctors, like other practitioners, have to undergo more than 10 years of systematic specialist training and examination, and understand the research methods used by Chinese Tuina laboratory. Hu Binglin also shared his classic medical records in the Moroccan Tuina clinic and won applause on the spot. People also earnestly follow Hu Binglin to learn to do eye self-Tuina exercises.

In the final Chinese Medicine experience activity, the audience waiting for inquiry and experience of Tuina and acupuncture was crowded on the exhibition stand. One of them shared her feelings with the audience after the Tuina treatment. She said that Chinese doctors could directly press the most painful part during the Tuina treatment. After the treatment, she was very relaxed, her eyes could see things clearly, and her original dizziness symptoms were obviously alleviated. She thought it was magical.

Confucius Institute of Mohammed V University and Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine have cooperated with Moroccan Medical Unit for four consecutive lectures and experience activities on Traditional Chinese Medicine culture. This activity is also the first one after the signing of the contract between Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Confucius Institute of Mohammed V University. It is also the first time that Chinese Tuina specialists formally introduced Chinese massage culture to foreigners on the African continent, enriching the content of Chinese medicine publicity, which is of great significance.
