Chulabhorn Royal Academy and the delegation of overseas Chinese medicine came to visit our hospital
On the morning of July 12, a delegation of 10 people from ChulabhornRoyalAcademy, Thailand, and overseas Chinese Medicine doctors came to visit our hospital. President Zhou Jia, Vice President Shen Yan and representatives of relevant functional departments and clinical departments attended the reception.
President Zhou Jia warmly welcomed the delegation, introduced the basic situation of the hospital, and elaborated on the progress of the hospital in integrated Chinese and Western medicine, clinical, teaching, scientific research and international cooperation.
Nithi Mahanonda, Director-General of ChulabhornRoyalAcademy, introduced the general situation of the institution. ChulabhornRoyalAcademy was founded in 1987 by Princess Chulabhorn. It is an independent research center funded by the Thai government. It is devoted to serving clinics with biochemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry and other major research projects.
At the meeting, the two sides carried out active communication and exchanges on acupuncture, massage, rehabilitation, Zhu's gynecology and other areas of TCM characteristics. According to the experimental results of massage therapy mechanism, LV Qiang, Deputy Director of Tuina Department, clarified the similarities and differences between Traditional Chinese Tuina and Western medicine osteopathy to the Thai delegation, which was unanimously recognized by the Thai delegation. The two sides also discussed the training of talents, and made the Thai delegation have a detailed understanding of the growth and development of Thai students in our institute.
After the symposium, the Thai delegation, accompanied by Vice President Shen Yan, visited the Tuina ward and the outpatient clinics of the Tuina and Acupuncture Departments, and observed the Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment techniques such as Ding's Yizhichan manipulation, acupuncture and moxibustion reinforcing and reducing manipulation. Through active interaction with patients through translation, the delegation was amazed and deeply impressed by the remarkable effect and charm of Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment on patients.
