In response to the national "One belt and one way" initiative, to promote the development of international cooperation projects such as "Mauritius Chinese Medicine Center" and "INOVA Chinese medicine center", and to further standardize and strengthen our foreign affairs management, the Office of the hospital took the lead in setting up a contingent of foreign liaison officers and organizing a series of training courses for foreign liaison officers.

On the afternoon of September 27, 2018, the training course started smoothly and the first lecture was held. More than 40 foreign affairs liaison officers in various departments of the hospital, training students at the base and medical staff interested in foreign affairs participated in the training.

Shen Yan, Vice President of our hospital, attended the opening ceremony, introduced the major policies and principles of internationalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine in recent years, and stressed that under the new opportunities of the times, Yueyang Hospital should continue to adhere to the fine tradition of foreign cooperation and development, cultivate professional advantages, strengthen team building, and continue to be in the forefront of internationalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Jiang Haishan, President of Shanghai International Association for Educational Exchange, was invited to give a special lecture on "Foreign Work and International Etiquette - Talking about Cultural Differences in Foreign Exchanges". President Jiang introduced in detail the definition of foreign affairs etiquette, etiquette spirit and basic principles of etiquette, and introduced in detail the four aspects of appearance, manner, ceremonial meal and ceremony one by one. After the training, President Jiang also answered the questions and doubts of the liaison officers in their foreign affairs work. President Jiang's words and deeds were excellent and won a lot of applause from the audience. The atmosphere was lively and the students benefited a lot.

The training is of great significance to further standardize the development of hospital foreign affairs and enhance the practical ability of various departments. Next, the hospital will carry out a series of training courses for foreign affairs liaison officers according to the plan, strengthen the study of foreign affairs liaison officers in reception etiquette, foreign affairs document writing and cross-cultural communication, and constantly improve the reception level.

We will take this opportunity to standardize, improve and streamline various foreign affairs systems in accordance with the National Foreign Affairs Policy and the actual development needs of our hospital, strive to improve the efficiency of foreign affairs, and jointly promote the development of foreign affairs in hospitals to a high level and a deep level.
